Here in Maine, and New Hampshire area I guess have been w/out power since Thursday.

I had just come home from work early on Thurs night, to black ice everywhere, trees in roads, branches damaging property etc.

It is now Saturday, and there is no power.
We are fortunate, as my family had bought a generator over the summer.
Well, the f'n thing didn't work *L*
So, we like everyone else were without electricity, plumbing, (we have a well),and NO tv/cable.
We are fortunate that the generator is now running, and the heat is back on.
(still no cable), but that doesn't matter when ya look at the big picture.

Just to remind people to check on your elderly neighbors who may need help.
Check on families with children who may need some help.
I have been doing that, and feel good for helping what little I can.
